Still dream high (focused) waiting for some pay (dollar dollar)

Now I'm networking, emailing (Suck up)
Pull out big words, brown nose for days on end (smiling)
Going to stop all mean mugging (pleasant)
Changed email address, Kept Dot E D U on End (Bouncing)
Cus it cost ma big bucks, see me on stage got the folder shucks (with the proof in it)
Wasn't guaranteed a job after (Why not?)
And the banking kids are dying of laughter (Lehman)

While I read over, start checking mast heads (Feenin)
Daydream, thinking bout last summer
Flashbacks of high hopes, once called reporter (Intern)
2K4 Culture Now 4 Sho (Hey Abby!)
2K5 Holler on Radio (Word, W N Y C)
And then last year, entered publishing mag game
Found out I liked it, and women's lifestyle wasn't lame (Martha!)

Need an allowance to roll in B K, NYC
But got to get to Manhattan's Macy's (Interviewing Suit)
Spin through Lord and Taylor to find a dress (Spending)
Cant show up looking a hot mess
Ivy grad, no paper, living in the rent's house (Bouncing)
So when I sue, homeboy sue back
Paralegal Apps. where all the real money's at
I got to do graduate school soon (N.Y.U.)
